REVIEW:
Gracen Miller's Rockin' the Heart goes a beat above the rest. This New Adult Contemporary Romance had me hooked at first glance with the main character's monologue in the opening scene. As a seasoned writer, Miller delivers a unique story with the right amount of steamy romance, incredible character development, and a third-degree burning anticipation for that first kiss.
Sam, the saucy main character, is in love with the one man that's off limits—her brother's best friend, Heath "Fang" Fangor. Heath is the sex icon rock star that every girl dreams of, but no girl's been able to claim. When Sam playfully pushes Heath's buttons, little does she know that he'll push hers right back and harder. Is he genuinely interested in her, or is he playing the rockstar game he plays with every girl? Filled with self-doubt and confused, Sam puts up a fight, but Heath won't back down. And as if Sam's life wasn't already complicated enough, she also has to deal with her brother, Jase, who happens the be the band's drummer and the only family she has left. Looks like Sam might be the cause of Hot Wired's band breakup if she doesn't play the right notes.
