The Utopya Con 2014 Blog Hop + Giveaways!

This year I was fortunate to be a part of the Utopya Con experience. My trip started off on the wrong foot because someone (me) booked the wrong departing flight and I missed the Timid Monster Book Trailer Camp. I'm still sad over that. My family, husband and son, accompanied me on this trip, thankfully, because we ended up arriving at the hotel past one o'clock in the morning.

I had lots of fun at the con and met a lot of people... bloggers, authors, photographers, cover artists, interior book designers, models, publishers, publicists, and Facebook friends. It was such a great experience! Even Timid Monster showed up at my table to say hi.

We did a little shopping and dining and all was well, but on the way back, our flight was cancelled in Dallas and I had to spend the night there. Luckily, the airline had a toothbrush and toothpaste for us, which made it all better. NOT. We had purchased traveler's issuance, so we were covered. Don't pity me; My family and I spent the night in a great hotel.

Anyway, I thought that rather than keep rambling about my UtopYA 2014 trip, I'd show you. I put together a video (smartphones are the ish!). Enjoy!
